Geldrops Stride, a white and black dog born on 18th of December 2004 out of the combination "Standard Scratch x Pineapple Vera".He is the first dog breed on the european continent to run and win at the home of the English Derby - the track in Wimbledon/London.
He run against top UK and IE breed dogs including the one and only English-Derby hero "Westmead Hawk".
Badly bumped in a qualifying trial before racing on Friday, 18th of April, he finished lame and is now back in Germany.
Checked by our vet in Bremen, x-rayed his frontlegs, it was found that he partly broke his right leg "Ulna" near the wrist.
After more than one year treatment, patience and love Eddie is back on the track.
He run 6 races so far this year and finished 2nd twice, 3rd 3 times and one race he finished fifth.
We are very happy with him and looking forward to the next year when he will start as a veteran.
